Tender Wolf is the melancholic brainchild of guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter J. Summar (Milktoast Millie & the Scabby Knees).

Their “brilliantly bleak folk-rock originals,” are punctuated by haunting melodies, introspective lyrics, and a touch of ethereal elegance provided by Courtney Waldron Daehne's (Milktoast Millie & the Scabby Knees) cello, the band creates captivating sadcore music that resonates deeply. Backing vocalist and bassist Chris Nine (Stella & the Very Messed, Schatzi) adds rich harmonies, intertwining with J. Summar's vocals to create a hauntingly beautiful synergy. Phil McJunkins' (Moving Panoramas, Sanco Loop) dynamic drumming completes the lineup, elevating Tender Wolf's moody compositions with a vital pulse.
